The College of Technical Engineering at Al-Farabi University trains engineers for the applied end of the profession โ the roles where equipment has to be built, calibrated, operated and kept running.
Our five departments span medical instrumentation, electrical power, computer systems, exploration and well drilling, and cybersecurity. Each pairs engineering fundamentals with laboratory and field practice, so graduates arrive at work already familiar with the instruments and methods their sector uses.
All programmes are delivered under the accreditation framework of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
