About the Department

Cybersecurity Techniques Engineering

Cybersecurity techniques engineering addresses the defence of networks, systems and data — a discipline that has become central as Iraq's institutions move services and records onto digital infrastructure.

The programme pairs networking and systems fundamentals with security practice: how attacks work, how systems are hardened against them, how incidents are investigated, and the legal and ethical framework governing the work.
